Bada Bagh

Bada Bagh, three km from Jaisalmer, Bada Bagh is an oasis of fruit in the background quite lovely rain fed lake and a dam in the center of the plateau. Worked up by Maharaja Jai Singh II, much of the city's fruit and vegetables are grown here and above it are royal cenotaphs with beautifully carved ceilings and equestrian statues of former rulers.

Ram Niwas Garden

The last Maharaja Ram Singh II, as a project for famine relief, presented the well-liked Ram Niwas Gardens located in Jaipur in 1868. It houses a zoo, an aviary, a greenhouse, a herbarium, a museum and several sports facilities. Albert Hall Museum is especially famous for its Indo-Saracenic structure. Recently there have been some additions as Rabindra Manch with an auditorium, a modern art gallery and an outdoor theater.

Vidyadhar Garden

Vidyadhar Garden, near Jaipur Sisodia Gardens is a beautiful vineyard dedicated to Vidhyadhar Bhattacharya, the architect of the city of Jaipur that the city planned using the rules laid down in Shilpa Shastra (an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture .) These terraced gardens house several galleries, pavilions and murals depicting delightful scenes from the life of Lord Krishna.

Gulab Bagh

Translated as "The Garden of Roses', is located in the Park Sajjan Niwas, Udaipur. Established by Sajjan Singh in the nineteenth century, with all types of roses available all over the world. Houses the collection of Saraswati Bhawan (originally called the Victoria Hall) was built to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee and the Aravalli Express, a train set, shows the garden in a more pleasurable.

Sahelion Ki Bari

Saheliyon-ki-Bari or 'Garden of Maids of Honour of Udaipur once reserved for royal ladies who came here to take a walk. A well planned garden, with extensive gardens and shaded walks along the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake was built in the delicate 18th century by Maharana Sangram Singh for forty-eight bridesmaids sent to the royal house as part of dowry. There are many sources in the four views of the garden and swimming pools with carved and chiseled kiosks and marble elephants.

Mandore Gardens

Nine km from Jodhpur, Mandore was once the capital of Marwar. The wide gardens with high rock terraces houses the ruins of the ancient capital, together with the cenotaphs of the rulers of Jodhpur, the most notable is the memorial of Maharaja Ajit Singh. Its highlights comprise the Hall of Heroes graphic, a rock wall with high relief, gloss paints scenes from the lofe of local heroes, as Pabuji and Chamunda and modern crowded sanctuary of thirty crore gods. Mandore Gardens also offer the great venue for the much-famed Marwar Festival.

Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh

Numerous landscaped gardens were made in the 18th and 19th centuries by the kings and their courtiers, but Sisodia Rani-ka-Bagh of Jaipur is the biggest and most well-known garden worked up by Sawai Jai Singh II for his Sisodia Queen. The tiered multi-level garden has gorgeous fountains, watercourses and painted pavilions.
